What Convinced Me That Type 2 Diabetes Can Be Reversed: Anniversary Edition

 

When you're overweight, diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, and had what felt like a near-death experience, you tend to reevaluate your life and what brought you to that point. That was me between 2019 and 2020.  

I USE to be 268 pounds, sick, sluggish, stressed out and living as a diabetic. BUT, things changed when I made a concrete decision to transform my entire life, lose weight, and beat diabetes. 

Having lived through one of the worst times of my life, and being able to bounce back from the struggles of once living with type , it became my passion to share my story to help others make lifestyle changes to reverse disease. 

That’s why I launched this podcast. In fact, this marks the one year anniversary of the Beating Diabetes Lifestyle podcast, season 1. 

In honor of the show reaching its one year anniversary, I thought why not re-air my very first episode, which I believe is relevant to where we are today.  

Today, I no longer need to take insulin (as confirmed by my doctor). I'm very active, and I feel great! You can too!

My goal is to create awareness around diabetes, and help others win this battle against diabetes and win!
